"Its a nice day to start again..."





 Vintage sweater, Target beanie, F21 ring, Gap jeans

I've had my eye on this sweater for years, and its a sweater my dad wore "back in the day".  I'm not even sure I should consider 80s vintage, but after seeing neutral chunky knits everywhere, I decided it was time to sneak it out of my dad's closet and show this baby the new decade!

I love the colors in this, it made my Monday a little brighter--despite the few stares I recieved on campus. I can't believe my dad actually wore this, but then again he was also a fan of  Culture Club & Guns N' Roses, while mom loved Madonna & Cyndi Lauper. Instead of listening to Disney songs that most people my age adored, I was jamming to 80s hair bands and I'm so thankful for that. 

So word of advice to all you clothing lovers out there: Save those funky pieces to pass down to your kids! 

Just wanted to share some of my all time favorite tunes of the 80s:
