Today was such a cold day, but I'm not complaining--I absolutely love this time of year. It means I can layer as much as I want, bundle up in gloves, boots, scarves, beanies, coats, and cuddle! All things that I adore.
After class I met up with some pals to check out the opening of a charming new vintage boutique.
One thing I love about our town, is that it's always thriving with wonderful new things--new restaurants, neat little shops, and lovely boutiques. So when I first heard that a vintage boutique would be opening up I was beyond thrilled. Grey Dog is not just any ordinary vintage boutique, its run out of a beautifully renovated 1973 Airstream trailer. How neat is that?
Walking inside, we were all surprised to find out how big it actually was. It was like opening the door into my very own Narnia--filled with treasures and delightful surprises in every corner!
The owner, Molly Clark, is not only beautiful and sweet--but certainly has an eye for finding quality vintage clothing. Each piece was labeled with the decade they were from, and the quality of each piece was impeccable!
You can truly feel how much love was put into this boutique as well as every thing in it. From gorgeous printed dresses and shoes, to jewelry and bags, everything has its own unique story and Molly is so wonderful for sharing it with her customers. I definitely can't wait to see Grey Dog grow!
I know where most of my Christmas wish list is coming from, so Santa get ready :)

ReplyDeleteI love your boots! The entire outfit looks so comfy.
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny, at first when I saw "Grey Dog," I thought you were referring to a diner in NYC that I go to all the time, and I was going to say, "Wow small world!" But it's a small world anyway since it shares the same name :P So cool that it is run in an old Airstream trailer! I love the photo of all you guys in front of it.
