refresh button

Welcome to 2011 friends! We can officially hit the "refresh button" and start anew. Now, I'm not talking about making a New Year's resolution. I mean sure, resolutions can be from the best of intentions, but sometimes they can be so debilitating. 

Why not choose to change something or to dedicate your "resolution" to helping someone other than yourself? Or how about conquering something that's holding you back? Like your fear to try this, or anxiety to do that, or giving up something you're afraid to let go of.

Open your bright eyes to all the things you've been afraid to try, dare to wear something that's completely different--something bold and funky (like me wearing this girly girl dress), because as long as it makes you feel good...who cares what anyone else thinks? Your confidence will allow your true beauty to radiate through. Ok, I'll stop there because I'm starting to sound a little too sappy :)

    I am loving everything you are wearing (especially that jacket! I need one like that) and I agree with everything you said! Maybe my resolution will be to try new foods because as it turns out I always say I hate this and that but I've never even tried it in the first place :P anyhow, happy new year!

    I'm impressed. It's hard to do red, but with your hair and skintone, you look AMAZING! Not to mention, incredibly festive. Love the whole look...and your lipstick looks awesome as well...I have incredible trouble with reds. Happy New year!!!

    This dress if fab! I can't believe it's from Target! I must have missed this beauty when the collection was out.

    Very nice and true words you write. It's a new decade, it's time to take some risks! I'm hoping to get organized this year...and I think my biggest change is going to be my hair. I'm still not 100% sure what I'm going to do with it (or IF I'll have the guts to do it!), but I need a change.

    The dress is absolutely gorgeous on you! And I totally agree about the new year's resolution. I don't like making any because I feel like there doesn't need to be a specific time for a person to strive to be better. We should try to be better for those around us year round.
