welcome to the jungle

Vintage Ann Taylor dress  Grey Dog, Target knee highs/socks & bag, F21 belt & boots

Oh hey! You know me, just flexing my guns...sorry if the awesomeness blinded you. I found this amazing silk dress where I work and instantly fell in love--the color and the fabric is absolutely dreamy. And it makes me wish I was in Jumanji, hence my "get back you tiger, before I whip you" face in the second photo.

It's my first full week back, after almost 2 weeks of snow days! Which leads me to my slow response to replies and so on. I don't want to be one of those bloggers who never answers back...so give me time.

Another distraction....NYFW?! Favorite collections so far ( I won't bore you with a bazillion images you've already seen) :  Marc Jacobs ( "Beautiful People" is still on repeat in my head), Marc by Marc Jacobs, Jason Wu, DVF, Badgley Mischka, Donna Karan, Chris Benz, Thakoon & Rodarte.

I'm feeling some runway inspired DIYs coming soon! Any suggestions on what you want to see?

Edit: check out my guest post at missing lovebirds!

I know it is such a time consuming thing but how did you do your adorable menu tabs and change the font of your blog roll? Man, I'm so behind on blogging and commenting! I mean, all I've pitifully done so far is try to keep a relatively regular update on my own, but I do miss commenting on tons of others. >< I do gotta say though, I love that you referred to Jumanji when you wore this dress. Because a) the dress suits you so well and b) I have fond memories of the Jumanji movie, as terrifying as it was and still is.
