your mama don't dance, and your daddy don't rock n' roll






Allen B leather jacket (thanks mama), Target boots, thrifted dress, 
 F21 beanie & tights

I've been taking full advantage of this weather, in terms of taking photos. It wasn't too cold today, but we're getting dumped on with more snow. This is what I get for wanting so much snow right?! But seriously, this is not good for a busy-body like me.


This has to be one of my favorite dresses, its so long and comfortable. I feel like Morticia Addams (I wish) lounging around. If you couldn't tell, I was feeling a little edgy and this jacket is so perfect for those days where I'm a little girly and tough. 
I focused my energy and finally did another DIY and I will be posting that soon! Productivity & boredom at its best! I hope you all have a warm and safe weekend!

    I love this outfit!! It's definitely edgy, and to me '90s-inspired (ahh love '90s.. I feel like I keep saying "'90s inspired" about everything, but '90s style is just so iconic because it's dark yet glam at the same time, and even a little off beat, and I love that). Your jacket is really great- I like all the studs, and that ring is the coolest!! Multiple finger rings are such a great accessory- esp bc they're edgy, too :P

    I think I have the elements to do this look...in fact, I have a black dress similar to this on the dress form in my room and have been thinking about doing the black tights and lace up boots with it. You have styled it to perfection. Edgy and yet elegant as well! GORGEOUS!!! ~Serene

    Honestly I'm pretty jealous of your weather right now... it has rained here all weekend, and all the flood plains have been flooded!

    dang lady, looking all chic but edgy but grunge and shiz?! I love it and you pull it off effortlessly :) But get inside that house! I have no idea how you ladies in the snowier climes have the effort to dress cute and stand outside when its cold! I'd seriously just fashion some sort of durable footy pajama/long john hybrid and call it a day. and never leave home.
