a relaxing break



Thrifted dress, coat, & belt, F21 tights, jewelry, hat, scarf, Xappeal boots

Yesterday was lovely just being able to spend time with my bf and my family, a simple quiet Thanksgiving is worth more than gold. I made pumpkin cheesecake for the first time, played spoons & BS with the family, and avoided doing any work!

I would just like to thank each and everyone of my followers, and I really mean that. You guys are awesome, and each one of you is beautiful and inspiring to me. I would specifically like to thank the sweet, Bee for featuring me in her "Bloglight" post,  and Chelsea & Kennyy for choosing me for their most stylish award :). You guys are great.

Zeus wrapped up like a burrito, trying to be a vampire.

On my mind:
If anyone is thinking about getting a pet for the holidays or know someone who is, please check out your local animal shelters first. There are so many lovely dogs and cats who are overlooked. Our lovely kitten Zeus was rescued, and unfortunately black cats are usually the first to be euthanized because of their negative stereotypes but he is just a bundle of love that has brought so much joy into my life.

First of all, kitty is adorable! I'm allergic to cats and dogs, but I love looking at them...very true about the shelter, too...my boyfriend rescued the cutest kitty over the summer and took her to the shelter...I hope she got a good home!
