the pleat that fixed the camel's back

vintage Dress, The Limited camel blazer, vintage cuff, Target hat, F21 ring/necklace,
vintage Etienne Aigner messenger, Dolce Vita for Target wedges

Overcast skies make for some really sweet photos, they're always my favorite days to take pics. Today I felt like playing around in my new dress that I purchased from Veronika at Tick Tock Vintage . I've been looking for long pleated skirts, and this one was just too beautiful to pass up! Sometimes I feel silly being too girly, so adding this blazer and hat suit my style--a little girly and a little tomboyish.

Oh and don't you just love designer collaborations? Dougie surprised my with these wonderful and super comfortable wedges for Valentine's day and also the Nicki Minaj album...isn't he the greatest? He remembered me crushing over these online, and they are even better in person.

Well, I'm off to catch up on some relaxation that I very much deserve :)
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend pretties!

Also love the location :)

I do love contrasting vibes that you got going on here (feminine vs. masculine and all that good jazz). And when I first read your title, I was all ... straw is the opposite of... pleat? then I saw the outfit and it ALL MADE SENSE. Sometimes I'm really quick. ><

I also do love designer collabs, because it allows us to indulge without having to splurge too much. I'm definitely looking up some Dolce Vita for Target shoes right now, thanks to you. :) This may or may not be good for my wallet...

This outfit is amazing!
This lenght for the skirt is not easy to put, and you really rock it!
And the combination of the electric blue with the beige is a very unusual combination, anf here it works perfectly.
I've just found your blog, and judging by your success you already know that you've got amazing style! Although your outfits are not always something I could wear (because I'm not bold enough haha) I like the fact that you mix very classic/romantic pieces with more aventurous style pieces
